May 121314, 1995 - Phillies at Astros. For Fan Appreciation Weekend, the Astros put on "Shooting Star" jerseys from the Astrodome opening in 1965. Unfortunately this game also seems to have not been worthy of adding to any cards that I can find.
Notable Astros - 12th - Craig Biggio, Luis Gonzalez, Jeff Bagwell, Derek Bell and Doug Drabek. 13th - Craig Biggio, Luis Gonzalez, Jeff Bagwell, Derek Bell and Darryl Kile 14th - Craig Biggio, Luis Gonzalez, Jeff Bagwell, Derek Bell and Mike Hampton
Indians at Brewers - June 8, 1995
June 8, 1995 - Indians at Brewers. Continuing the glut of card companies not adding photos from throwback games to their card set, this game doesn't appear to represented either. The Indians didn't go full pajamas, but did put on their 1977 Cleveland Indians Red Jersey, and the Brewers matched up with their 1972-1977 Home White Jerseys
Notable Indians - Kenny Lofton, Omar Vizquel, Carlos Baerga, Albert Belle, Eddie Murray, Jim Thome, Manny Ramirez and Dennis Martinez (loaded lineup!!). Notable Brewers - Pat Listach, Greg Vaughn, and B.J. Surhoff.
Yankees at White Sox - July, 5, 1995
July 8, 1995 - Yankees at White Sox. White Sox where 1964 Home pinstripes, while Yankees just where regular normal road jerseys.
Royals at Tigers - July 8, 1995 and Tigers at Royals - July 30, 1995
July 8, 1995 - Royals at Tigers. These uniforms were also likely worn on July 30, 1995 in an odd Home Jersey on the Road game. Most pics may actually be from that July 30th Day game. The Gagne for sure is Kaufmann Stadium. Royals wear 1925 K.C. Monarchs Road Grey Jerseys, and the Tigers wear their soon to be very familiar 1920 Detroit Stars Home Pinstripe Jersey.
Notable Royals - Vince Coleman, Wally Joyner, Gary Gaetti, and Mark Gubicza. Notable Tigers - Travis Fryman, Cecil Fielder, Kirk Gibson, and Lou Whitaker, Alan Trammel 7/30 only.
July 30, 1995 - Tigers at Royals. The Tigers and Royals swap Home/Road for a Negro League Tribute. Tigers put on a road version of the 1920 Detroit Stars jersey and the Royals counter with a 1924 Kansas City Monarchs White Pinstriped jersey.
Notable Tigers - Travis Fryman, Cecil Fielder, Kirk Gibson, Alan Trammel, and Lou Whitaker. Notable Royals - Vince Coleman, Wally Joyner, Gary Gaetti and Greg Gagne.
Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be any pics on cards from this game either.
<EDIT> - See July 8th game above. Royals and Tigers look like they wore same jerseys in July 30th game as the July 8th game at Detroit. Weird Home on Road/Road at Home jersey swap.
Assuming the 2005 Upper Deck Classics card of Kirk Gibson is from one of these games, as he retired after 95 season.
There was quite the mystery from these cards. This 1997 Pinnacle Alan Trammell I thought went with the 1996 Throwback game the Tigers would have put on. As I started to update the post, I noticed there is no Tigers and Royals throwback game in 1996. I thought, maybe it is a photo from the July 8th, 1995 game. The Royals wore red-sleeved 1925 K.C. Monarchs jerseys with the black heart patch on the side.
One problem with the 1995 theory is Alan Trammel didn't play in the July 8, 1995 game. He played on the 6th, 7th, and 9th, but not the 8th. Now it is possible that these uniforms were worn on multiple games that weekend, but I cannot confirm that.
So we can rule out 1995, if it was a single game, and the 1996 game was against the Yankees.
Todd Peterson in The Negro Leagues were Major Leagues, has listed an August 24th, 1996 game with Detroit as the Stars playing the Royals at the Monarchs, but at K.C. Trammel again was not in that ballgame according to Baseball-reference.com. They also wouldn't likely have worn white jerseys on the road.
Royal Heritage has listed a game on July 30, 1995 with the Tigers on the road against the Royals. He has the Royals playing in White Pinstripe 1924 Monarchs jerseys. These jerseys lack the red sleeves as seen on the Trammel card.
Trammel also retired at end of 1996, so this isn't the 1997 game represented on the 1997 Pinnacle card. I think for sure there is a game missing between these two teams in Negro League Throwbacks in either 1995 or 1996.
From "packbusta" on Blowout forums: I think you may be on to something with the July 30th game. Lines up with a day game. In that game, Trammell recorded a caught stealing on Gary Gaetti.
With no pictures of the game, I'm wondering if the KCBBH writeup is correct.
More possible info:Thanks for pointing that out from the July 30 game. I hadn't looked the far down the BR page.
I think the answer was staring me right in the face the whole time. There is no way this Gagne pic is from Tiger Stadium. That has to be Kaufmann with the grass above the fence!!
I see the CS, also got one on Tom Goodwin, who often would wear long sleeves.
Mystery deepens if Magnante jersey is game worn, as he played in neither the July 8th or July 30th games.
I was thinking the Trammel card was some weird angle on the Tigers dugout. If that pic is from Kaufmann Stadium though, that would be the correct position for the Tigers bullpen to be in the background for a shot from 1st base camera positions with runner between 1st and 2nd.
Maybe they played two games and decided to use the same jersey in home and away. I can't tell in the other pics if one is Kaufmann and the other is Tiger Stadium. I think Home/Away dugouts are swapped in both locations. The Chad Curtis card look like it says 361 in left field corner, but I don't see that as the correct dimension in either park. Tiger Stadium was 340, and Kaufmann 330.
Decided to search back through some 1996 Tigers cards on COMC. Felipe Lira has a card. He didn't play in the July 8th game, but did pitch the July 30th game. Joe Boever has a card, and he pitched July 30th, not July 8th.

1996 Upper Deck Collector's Choice - [Base] #139 - Joe Boever Courtesy of COMC.com
Now I wonder if the cards I had for July 8th may actually all be from July 30th.
Orioles at Angels - August 26, 1995
August 26, 1995 - Orioles at Angels. 35th Anniversary of the Angels playing baseball, both teams throwback to that first game between the Orioles and Angels in 1961. Orioles put on 1961 Grey Road Jerseys, and the Angels throwback to the Los Angeles Angels of 1961.
Notable Orioles - Brady Anderson, Cal Ripken Jr, Bobby Bonilla, Rafael Palmeiro, and Kevin Brown. Notable Angels - Jim Edmonds, Tim Salmon, J.T. Snow and Garret Anderson.
Royals at Mariners - September 9, 1995
September 9, 1995 - Royals at Mariners. The Royals put on Monarchs jerseys for the 3rd time in 1995 as the 1942 Kansas City Monarchs. The Mariners honor the 1946 Seattle Steelheads Negro League team. Again the card companies miss out on putting Ken Griffey Jr. in a Throwback jersey.
Notable Royals - Johnny Damon, Wally Joyner, Gary Gaetti, Greg Gagne and Mark Gubicza. Notable Mariners - Ken Griffey Jr, Edgar Martinez, Tino Martinez, Jay Buhner and Andy Benes.
