Another part of Nottawa Creek that tends to take longer to freeze over in the winter. My stops here have been entirely quick stops while remaining in the vehicle acquiring quick photos/IDs in between traffic. The road is not heavily travelled, but not isolated either. It is more of a drive-by check for waterfowl congregating in the winter. I also suggest swinging by where Nottawa Creek passes J DR S nearby. This location brought the County first Long-tailed Duck in 2014.
The Creek opens up well to the West of the bridge, but the distance hampers positive ID for most of the waterfowl (for my skill level). This is a good spot in the winter for:
