The Jack-Pine Warbler December, 1980, Vol. 58, No.4 - Walkinshaw - Birds Banded in Michigan - Loggerhead Shrikes appear to be a bird of the past.  Three were banded in a nest in Clarence Two., Calhoun County, 30 May 1935 and a fledged HY bird in Pennfield Twp., Calhoun County, 2 July 1935.  ​
