Notable Orioles - Brady Anderson, Roberto Alomar, Rafael Palmeiro, Bobby Bonilla, Cal Ripken Jr and David Wells. Notable Rangers - Ivan Rodriguez, Will Clark, Juan Gonzalez, and Dean Palmer.

Yankees at Tigers - June 8, 1996

June 8, 1996 - Yankees at Tigers. The Yankees appear in their first throwback game as the 1934 New York Black Yankees. The Tigers wear their familiar 1920 Detroit Stars Home White Pinstriped jersey. Again the card companies miss out on having some potential great cards of future Hall of Famers. 

Notable Yankees appearing in this game - Wade Boggs, Bernie Williams, Tino Martinez, Ruben Sierra and a rookie Derek Jeter batting 9th. Notable Tigers - Alan Trammel and Cecil Fielder.

Todd Peterson in The Negro Leagues Were Major Leagues lists the game as June 9, 1996, but news articles confirm it as June 8th game.  

Mariners at Brewers - July 31, 1996

July 31, 1996 - Mariners at Brewers. Mariners wear a 1996 PCL Seattle Rainiers Road jersey, with the Brewers in 1946 Independent League Milwaukee Brewers home jersey. I've been unable to locate cards from this game. 

Notable Mariners - Alex Rodriguez, Ken Griffey Jr., and Jay Buhner. Notable Brewers - Pat Listach.

Tigers at Royals - August 24, 1996

August 24, 1996 - Tigers at Royals - Todd Peterson in The Negro Leagues were Major Leagues, has listed an August 24th, 1996 game with Detroit as the Stars playing the Royals at the Monarchs. No details on what uniforms were worn. 

Notable Tigers - Travis Fryman, Ruben Sierra, Tony Clark and Phil Nevin. Notable Royals - Michael Tucker and Johnny Damon.
