5MR gets a nice boost

My 5MR got a couple of nice boosts since the last update.  Northern Pintail became my 144th yard bird.  2 females/juveniles were out in the backwater feeding.  The kicker ended up being a pair of White-winged Scoters on Beadle Lake on November 10th.  Still here 4 days later, while giving much better looks than the Duck Lake pair.  After hitting this county so hard for 6 years and finally getting these birds this year, I've now seen at least 4, and probably 5 within the past few weeks.  2 of them practically in my backyard.  A Northern Harrier flyover on the 10th pushed the year Yard list to 115.  

Other highlights in the past couple of weeks:

• Sharp-shinned Hawk hitting the feeder on a couple of days, unsuccessfully as far as I can tell.  
• Dark-eyed Junco (Cassiar) ssp. cismontanus  has made an early visit to the yard.  
• A really late, for me, Yellow-rumped Warbler had come to the feeder a couple of days in a row.  Didn't quite make it to a county late of 11/11 though as I last saw it on the 10th.  
• A very white Sandhill Crane at the Cranefest site had my hopes up for a Whooping Crane, but it was not larger than the other birds.  
• Red-tailed Hawk was bumped off a seemingly fresh catch of a Wood Duck.  It was unable to fly off with it, so I'm not sure how it caught it and had it on the road to begin with.
